• Reduce your food cravings
• Support fat burning
• Increase sustained energy and metabolism
• Meal Replacement
• Lose Weight Fast
Its a great tasting meal substitute and natural appetite suppressant, a vanilla protein smoothie that is specially formulated to curb your cravings. LEAN’s proprietary combination of proteins,
amino acids, vitamins and minerals satisfies the appetite for hours, providing you with a very low-calorie, balanced, nutritional meal replacement or snack.
As part of a high nutrition diet, LEAN smoothies® are engineered with a specialized balance of proteins and amino acids to achieve a healthy body composition. “LEAN” tissue, or muscle, is the body’s best natural fat burner. When you exercise or lift weights, your muscles are damaged. LEAN can play an important role in the repair of your muscles. Increased muscle tissue will improve your metabolism and give your body its best shape and form.
LEAN is an important part of a complete weight loss and strength training program.
LEAN is great by itself, but Toni Strathman, RN and WeightLossCenter advocate, offers her ideas to make it even better.
How to get Good Fats in your diet with LEAN. Did you know that flax seed is a great source of Omega-3's and essential fatty acids. Also, flax is a source of fiber, both soluble and insoluble, and it’s an anti-oxidant.
Flax seed comes in golden and a reddish brown color. You can grind your flax seed yourself, or buy it already ground at your local bulk item store, whole foods market, or at a health food store. The dose is about 1-3 tablespoons per day, but make sure to start out slow, maybe 1 teaspoon at a time. Make sure you use ground flaxseed, because if not the seeds will pass right thru your system, undigested.
Some researchers are looking at the possible effects flax seed may have on lowering cholesterol, stabilizing blood sugars, decreasing risk of some cancers, and reducing inflammation of arthritis. Of the US growers, you will find flax grown in North Dakota because of the cooler climate. You will also find Canada a top grower.
So if you’re out to lose weight and want some "FLAX SNACKS", use LEAN in the Core 4 system. Add your dose of ground flaxseed, 8 oz of organic 1% milk, and a handful of your favorite frozen fruit. Strawberries and blueberries are my favorite blend to make a LEAN smoothie. Great if you’re using it as a meal replacement or a snack. Now you have your Good Fat, your fiber and Omega 3's with Lean.

A really good hint for others trying the shakes, make them with the V8 fusion juices or even the Wal Mart version and add 1 cup of frozen fruit to the protein powder. This way you have a cold smoothie and do not need to add the water or ice. This also makes it about 2 cups when blended so you feel like it’s a treat. Even my kids ask for a cup of smoothie to start their day! I find it a refreshing way to start the day and very affordable and filling.

Take any fresh fruit in season-peel it, seed it, and cut it into small pieces. Freeze and then take 1/2 cup of the frozen fruit, 1/2 cup water and 1/2 crushed Ice and add 1 spoon of Lean. Blend well and enjoy a healthy smoothie! You can also use fresh fruit from your grocery store-I use mangoes, peaches, bananas and berries. Enjoy!

I love coffee so an afternoon “cappuccino” is the way to get through the day with a extraordinary beverage that is healthy and not a Starbucks drive through... Use 1 cup of coffee – your brand, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 tablespoon of local vanilla cappuccino powder (has a lot of sugar, so get the light version) and a cup of ice... Great treat on a hot day and will fill you up.
